Bring business cards!

Business cards are a very simple leave behind for each and everyone you meet!

Know where you are going!

Our local community has a lot to offer.  Check it out!

Get to know other people, not your friends

It’s easy to hang out with folks you know Try and meet someone new!

Attend different types of sessions

Don’t be afraid to attend a different type of session not necessarily one that is in your interest range  - you never know what you will learn!

Follow up!

Remember those business cards and all the great people you met?  You collected those biz cards and met them for a reason.

Tip: hopefully you wrote on the back of the cards something to jog your memory about that person.

Don’t forget to follow up with them by email, social media or another way so you don’t lose contact and can continue to keep in contact and mutually benefit each other.

Put what you learned into practice

If you’ve been to a conference before, you know you are pumped about what you learned and experienced.  Make a top ten things list of what you learned. Share that insight!  Best yet – what three things can you implement right away?
