@Midwest is searching for social media experts and business professionals to speak at their annual social media conference on April 7-8, 2016. @Midwest will take place at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. Interested speakers should submit their proposal via www.atmidwest.com by January 15, 2016.

With the addition of the state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the formation of the Social Media Analysis and Response Team (SMART), the University is committed to developing social media as a tool for emergency response and recovery.
